Im Zeitraum vom 27.02. bis 16.03.2023 bietet das ZESS Intensivkurse in der vorlesungsfreien Zeit des Wintersemesters 2022/23 an. Das Kursangebot könnt Ihr im E-Campus einsehen (Kurs in der vorlesungsfreien Zeit): Vorlesungsverzeichnis. Die Anmeldung zum Losverfahren ist vom 21.02. (10 Uhr) bis 23.02.2023 (13 Uhr) in FlexNow freigeschaltet!

CeMIS: Careers in Germany Series

Welcome to the CeMIS series of talks on ‚Career Paths‘ in Germany. There is an exciting lineup of four speakers who will be sharing their insights and experiences on this topic.

First up, Sabine Pabst from the FIAN in Heidelberg  will introduce her organisation and the work they are pursuing in relation to food and hunger. She will also be discussing the current state of the development sector in Germany and the various career opportunities available.Next, Christian Wagner of the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik will join to talk about the work he does with his organisation on South Asia, and discuss the scope for scholarship on India in Germany. Chris Herrwig of EPIZ Goettingen will be sharing their personal journey and the skills required while working in the field of global justice. Finally, Annabelle Konermann will provide an overview of the technical aspects of applying to the job market in Germany, as well as the unique challenges and rewards of making a good impression at the application stage.
